Sept. 9: Randhurst Village Street Fest, corner of Rand and Elmhurst Roads, Climb on Prospect. The joy embarks at eleven a.m. when the Daily Herald’s Matt Avery presents cars from the 1920s, taking guests back in time to when Climb on Prospect was founded. Avery, who weekly writes a column telling stories of cars and their owners, will interview some owners bout their antique vehicles.

Sept. Ten: 31st annual Chicagoland British Car Festival, nine a.m.-3 p.m., Harper College, one thousand two hundred W. Algonquin Road, Palatine. One of the largest and most entertaining British car events in the U.S. More than five hundred classic British cars will be on display. Authentic British food, entertainment, technical learning sessions, car merchandise giveaways, classic car parts vendors, and examples of the latest automobile imports from Fine Britain.
