Two dudes will face court following the alleged stabbing of a man on the Gold Coast last month. Police say an quarrel occurred inbetween two boys at a Tequila Court address in Mermaid Waters, shortly after 1am on August 28. During the incident, one man sustained several serious wounds to his arms and pecs. Police have now charged two fellows, aged twenty eight and 35, with aggravated burglary, and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm. Police allege that both dudes have links to the Lone Wolves Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.
Information is being sought from the public after a serious traffic crash on the Gold Coast today. Just after 7am, two cars and a utility were involved in a collision at the intersection of Scottsdale Drive and Stapley Drive in Varsity Lakes. A 51-year-old woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition with chest, face and ankle injuries. An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old man were also taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries. Police are asking anyone who may have captured any dashcam vision of the crash to contact them.
A car has flipped onto its roof after being rear-ended by another vehicle on the Gold Coast. Police say the incident happened at around 9:30 last night, when a car that was allegedly weaving in and out of traffic on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Coomera failed to give way to a merging vehicle in front. The car in front has then veered to the right, hitting a guard rail and rolling onto its roof. The very first car skidded for approximately fifty metres before spinning three hundred sixty degrees on the roadway and coming to a stop. Police believe the offender has been active in Queensland and Fresh South Wales for several years, allegedly targeting poker machines in sports clubs and other commercial businesses. Police this morning executed a search warrant at an address in Elanora on the Gold Coast, where the 53-year-old was arrested. He’s facing charges relating to over twenty eight break and inject offences allegedly committed from North Brisbane to the Gold Coast inbetween two thousand nine and 2017.

Anarchy has erupted on the Gold Coast this afternoon as a brawl broke out at a popular beer garden in Surfer’s Paradise. Two people were taken to hospital, one with a stab wound – the other with head injuries.
A man has been stabbed in the neck during an fight on the Gold Coast this afternoon. Police say the incident took place at a licensed premises on Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise, at around Trio.30pm. It’s alleged a 24-year-old man produced a knife and stabbed the 29-year-old in the neck during the quarrel which involved a number of people. The man was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the 24-year-old was arrested at the scene.
UPDATE: A man has been charged with murder following a house fire on the Gold Coast this morning. Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at a home on Bushmead Street at Nerang, around 1:30am. A 26-year-old Nerang man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, but he passed away this morning. Police have now charged a 22-year-old Nerang man with murder. Gold Coast police expect to lay charges against a man over a deprivation of liberty and brunt incident early this morning. Police allege the 29-year-old man attempted to flood the inwards of a residence and set fire to property at an address on Hanlan Street in Surfers Paradise, shortly after midnight. A woman in her 20s attempted to leave, but police say the man threatened her with knives and forcibly prevented her from leaving. It’s also alleged he spat at officers while they attempted to restrain him. The woman was uninjured during the incident.
