Two killed in Thursday crash
Two people who died in a six-vehicle crash in Williamson County on Thursday have been identified as 29-year-old Jorge Montoya-Balderas and 23-year-old Marcelo Montoya-Balderas.
Both were from Cedar Park, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened on Texas twenty nine and County Road two hundred after a two thousand six Ford F-150 pulled out of a convenience store and slammed into two vehicles.
The driver of the truck, identified by DPS as 36-year-old John Gonzales, took off after the crash on the wrong side of Texas 29, then crashed into two other vehicles, authorities said. Both Jorge and Marcelo Montoya Balderas died at the scene.
Authorities said Gonzales was taken to the Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition.

Pedestrian struck, critically injured
A woman was critically injured on Friday morning after a vehicle hit her in Southeast Austin.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services crews received reports of an incident involving a pedestrian in the one thousand seven hundred block of Slaughter Lane, near Bluff Springs Road, at 6:42 a.m.
Very first responders arrived and found a woman described as in her 20s gravely injured.
The woman was taken to St. David`s South Austin Medical Center for treatment, but further details on her condition were not available Friday.

School placed on brief lockdown after threat
Fresh Braunfels High School was placed on a brief soft lockdown on Friday morning while police investigated a possible threat made on social media.
