Queensland woman gives birth in ute for a 2nd time

A Caboolture duo have had the shock of their lives all over again, with their 2nd daughter born in the same style as their very first – on the way to hospital in the family ute.

Sean Dalton and his wifey Rebecca said they felt more relaxed and ready for the birth of Stella last week, but she arrived even quicker than her three-year-old sister Keeva.

Keeva was born on the way to hospital in the front seat of herdad's Triton.

“Pulled into the hospital, I was going about 80, just hit a speed bump and I think that's what made her come out,” Mr Dalton recalled.

Not to be outdone, Stella arrived in a similar style – born on the backseat less than five minutes from hospital.

“Who would've thought lightning would strike twice, it's just unbelievable,” Mr Dalton said.
