One person hospitalized following a crash in Lawton

One person was sent to the hospital, after a crash in Lawton. This was the scene on south Railroad and F Avenue around 1:30 this afternoon. Lawton Police say a silver car headed west on F Ave failed to yield at a stop sign and slammed into that crimson Ameri-Cab. One passenger inwards the silver car was taken to the hospital. No word on their condition. Two people inwards the Ameri-Cab also had minor injuries.

The Lawton Police Department is demonstrating off some fresh police cars. They got seven fresh police sport utility vehicles. Some of them were paid for by the capital improvement project bill while others are just substituting older vehicles on the fleet. They are utter of fresh equipment and ready to roll. Man stabbed at Ross Estates in Lawton Wednesday night

A man was stabbed at Ross Estates on Wednesday night. According to police, a man stabbed his ex-girlfriend`s fresh beau in the tummy and then fled the scene before officers arrived. On Thursday morning, the suspect was found sleeping outside of home in the Eisenhower Village Area. Investigators say when the occupants awoke him, the suspect took off yet again. Officers were able to catch up with the suspect near SW Fenwick Ave and Bainbridge Avenue.

In our speech program, we train kids how to use their voice. This project is what they choose to speak out on and it is a worthy cause,» said educator Brandi Waldroop.

One person was sent to the hospital, after a crash in Lawton. This was the scene on south Railroad and F Avenue around 1:30 this afternoon. Lawton Police say a silver car headed west on F Ave failed to yield at a stop sign and slammed into that crimson Ameri-Cab. One passenger inwards the silver car was taken to the hospital. No word on their condition. Two people inwards the Ameri-Cab also had minor injuries.

Less than a month after classes commenced, Cameron High School went up in flames just before 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Classes were canceled on Wednesday. The school houses students in grades 6th through 12th grade. Kristie Ann Buggy Crews from Pocola Fire Department, LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office, Poteau Fire Department and the Pocola Police Department actively fought the blaze for ninety minutes.

Less than a month after classes embarked, Cameron High School went up in flames just before 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Classes were canceled on Wednesday. The school houses students in grades 6th through 12th grade. Kristie Ann Buggy Crews from Pocola Fire Department, LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office, Poteau Fire Department and the Pocola Police Department actively fought the blaze for ninety minutes.

They are fully operational today and able to resume utility billing services, payments, and employee payroll operations. Citizens no longer need hard copies of utility bills to make on-site payments and all City employees will receive checks on Friday. Oklahoma Cyber Security is presently working to assess, investigate and remedy the issues.
